Welcome to the Shitshow

Congratulations! You've found my website - my last bastion against smartphones, social media, and AI taking over my life. I just wanted a place to put things I or other humans make without the pressure of algorithms, comment sections, or doomscrolling.

This website is a labor of love and something I mostly work on in my free time at work. This is the third design so far, and I think it both accurately reflects me and also looks decent on mobile. Kind of goes against my smartphone thing, but I don't really give a shit.

This is also an exercise in assertiveness. I'm tired of wallflowering my way through life. I need to be a real flesh and blood human being who has interests and opinions. Social media feels too attached to real life for me to actually express myself these days and therapy's expensive, so here we are.

08/30/2026	Added the Ar(t)chive page for my digital art. Also added it to the navigation menu.
08/27/2026	Added "Featured Art" section to the home page. Added emoji functionality in the microblog (and other spots like inline in the journal)!
08/22/2025	Created the Media Log page to record my thoughts and ratings on various forms of media. The content is still very much a WIP.
08/3/2025	Created the Sketchbook page to show off my irl art journal and some assorted writing I've done. It's linked through the library right now, but I might add it to the main navigation if I feel like it.
07/28/2025	Created site button. Also created area for other buttons on the About page.
07/18/2025	Added a "to do" list under the changelog so I can actually keep up with things. Completely removed the scrapbook page and files. I wasn't a fan and it was taking up a stupid amount of space.
07/16/2025	Added a library page for book reviews. The cookbook is actually in there too in case I decide to remove it from the main navigation.
07/11/2025	Added a television page for videos. Like interdimensional cable, but specifically for me.
07/09/2025	Added a manifesto to my About page.
07/08/2025	Added mobile formatting! Let me know if it looks like crap anywhere. Added alphabetical sorting to the cookbook and added some more recipes. Added the microblog for fleeting thoughts that don't warrant a journal entry.
07/07/2025	Linked up the cookbook page that I've been working on. It has cool Javascript functionality. Remade the navbar with JS so I don't have to update every page anymore.
06/08/2025	Added the resources page.
05/20/2025	Created the new changelog, guestbook, and 404 page. Added custom cursor, selection, and background.
05/19/2025	Created yet another new layout. Something about the last one just felt off, though it was a lot of fun to work on.
